Dale Kohlberg
qualified as a chartered accountant in 1988 with Arthur Young in Cape Town. He has worked in London and was a
financial manager for Woolworths before moving into public practice. Dale has a special interest in tax and
general consulting. He is approved by the SA regulator as auditor of listed entities.

Ivor Sindler
started his own auditing practice in 1973, and founded Sindler’s Incorporated with Henry Van Noort in 1994.
The Sindler’s practice merged with Moore Stephens in 2008. Ivor is a keen yachtsman competing in many local and international ocean races, and has built up a loyal client base especially amongst the yachting fraternity.

Andrew Pitt
Andrew Pitt is a qualified CA (SA) who completed his articles in December 2004. Following his return to South Africa in mid 2005 after a period working abroad, Andrew joined Moore Stephens as an audit manager before forming his own practice, Pitt Armien.
Andrew rejoined the firm in 2010 as a Director, predominantly managing the audit portfolio.

Adele Smit
qualified as a Chartered Accountant (SA) in 2005. After completing articles and a short stint in commerce, she joined Moore Stephens and was admitted as director in 2008. She is actively involved in quality control in the firm.

Chris Bush
Chris Bush qualified as a chartered accountant in 1988 and completed his articles at Peat Marwick Mitchell (now KPMG), followed by his military service, which he served at the Receiver of Revenue in Cape Town in 1989 and 1990.
He established his own practice in 1991, merging with Dale Kohlberg to form Bush Kohlberg Inc.
He remained a director of Bush Kohlberg Inc until he relocated to his Eastern Cape farm in 2004, to enable him to spend time with his young family. Chris has rejoined the practice as a Director with effect from 2011.
Chris holds an Advanced Diploma in Tax Law from UCT and a Paralegal Short Course in Property Law and Deceased Estates.

Johan Vermeulen
Johan Vermeulen qualified as a CA(SA) on 11 June 2007 after completing his articles at PWC.
He spent five years in commerce before rejoining the profession in 2010.
