The merger of two dynamic accounting firms in 2003, Bush Kohlberg Inc and Van der Westhuizen Andersen Inc, saw the beginning of Moore Stephens South Africa.

Chris Bush, Dale Kohlberg and Julian van der Westhuizen, all instrumental in building successful growing practices in Cape Town, joined forces and successfully negotiated the South African rights to Moore Stephens and together with Moore Stephens Johannesburg were the first firms to practice under the Moore Stephens banner.

Now more centrally located at The Gateway, Century City alongside Canal Walk. Moore Stephens Cape Town is a significantly expanding accounting and auditing practice with a total of 120 professionals, trainee accountants and support staff servicing a wide array of industry sectors.
